Overview and scheduled changes to the Executive, Administrative, and Professional (EAP) exemptions.

This presentation will describe the provision to meet the EAP exemption by describing the three test that must be met.  These tests are the salary level test, the salary basis test, and the job duties test.  The presentation will also provide information presented in the final rule scheduled to go into effect on July 1st, 2024, January 1st, 2025, and thereafter.

About the Speaker:

Victoria “Vicky” Gonzalez is the Lead Wage and Hour Investigator for the United States Department of Labor - Wage and Hour Division. 

She works out of the Fayetteville, Arkansas Field Office.  Vicky Graduated in 1993 with a Doctorate from Universidad El Bosque (Bogota, Colombia), and in 2008 with an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She worked in the medical field until 2009 when she accepted the position as Wage and Hour Investigator.

In 2023 she was promoted to her current position as the Lead Investigator for the Little Rock District Office. Victoria enjoys swimming and traveling.
